Mission Statement:

The Oneonta Dance Center is a studio in which students have the opportunity to learn and express themselves through the many styles of dance, in a professional yet welcoming atmosphere. The Oneonta Dance Center teaches students the joy of dancing, along with how to work together in teams, how to build self-esteem, and how to enjoy and grow to love the art of dance.

About the Dance Center:

The Oneonta Dance Center has over 220 students and offers over 50 classes a week during the school year. ODC performs at numerous local charity events and performance venues. The studio has performed a well-attended weekend of shows in June for the past 15 years.

About the Owner:

Owner Megan Tannenbaum is an Oneonta native, well-known to the local dance community. She has danced for 20 years locally, in Albany, and at the Broadway Dance Center in New York City. She has also completed a marketing internship with the Broadway Dance Center. She has a Bachelors Degree in Business Economics from the State Univerity of New York at Oneonta.
