Hello!

Thank you for your interest in the Oneonta Dance Center.

Welcome to the wonderful world of dance!

If you new to dance, or new to the studio, we want to extend a warm welcome.

Here at the Oneonta Dance Center, we are focused on our students and their families. We try to make things as streamlined and easy as possible and provide a strong dance education for our students in a family friendly atmosphere. We are a close knit community at the Oneonta Dance Center.

We have about 150 students in our studio and 8 teachers. We run about 50 classes a week and offer all different styles of dance to all ages.

We start our classes at 3yrs old in a Song and Dance/Preschool Age class. If you have a 4 year old they can start tap, ballet or jazz. Seven year olds have the option of tap, jazz, ballet, lyrical, hip hop, modern, Irish step or musical theater. We also have classes for adults- tap, jazz, ballet, and lyrical! Any age and any level we more than likely have the class!

There are lots of points to look at when choosing a dance studio. For example,

-          How are the classes divided?

Ours are divided by both age and ability- an older child that is just starting would be put with
students near their own age, not young kids.

-          When is someone at the front desk to answer the phone and questions if needed?
We have someone at the front desk at all young kid classes
(Monday-Thursday 4-6pm and Saturday 10am-12pm)

-          How does tuition work? Do I have to pay extra for costumes?

Our tuition is all inclusive. The price you pay per month includes classes, costumes/props,

and a FREE DVD of the end of the year show. PLUS with our auto pay program, you sign

up at registration and your card is charged automatically every month! No need to keep track

of another thing that is due!

-          What about pick up and drop off?

We are located on a slow street and have parking right out front of the studio. So pick up and

and drop off is easy!

-          What if I need to change my contact or emergency information? How do I do that?

Easy! Sign into your ODC parent account online and change any information any time!

We also have all our classes run 55 minutes so that if a student is taking two classes in a row they have time to change shoes and studios.
